Give Thanks for Lighting

Tonight I get to learn about the churches lighting system. I was volunteered by my boyfriend to help with the lighting for the Thanksgiving service. Henry remembers me saying that I wanted to learn lighting when I was with Daniel (my boyfriend) when he was filming at the church. 

I really want to get into creative entertainment so I'm trying to learn about everything and anything that can do with it. I even called a professional fireworks company who has done shows for the olympics and other huge events. I got to go help set up a couple of shows for the 4th of July with them. It's not like I am going to become a pyrotechnician but I will be able to understand it more if I need to create a show with fireworks in it. 

Lighting is next on my list. I will join the lighting team at my church so I can learn about it and how I can use it. Maybe I'll be able to do some really different lighting for the Christmas service. =)

Fairytale Quote

This is a quote I wrote to go on the back of my business cards to show how I created the name for my "design company" (it's in quotes because my company is me) and to tie the meaning of faiyt (fate) and fairytale together. The company is Faiyt Design. I got Faiyt from the letters of Fairytale.

So here goes...
